For the past 49 years YWEA has challenged the youth and children of the Church of God to do their part in helping to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). This ministry platform has helped to establish over 17 Bble Schools and 9 Ministry Training Centers which have trained and equipped thousands of church leaders across the mission fields of the world. YWEA has established over 12 churches in vital areas which today are thriving lighthouses for the gospel, and spearheaded several evangelistic campaigns. To every individual who has participated in a YWEA carwash, bake sale or other fundraising event, or contributed in an offering, we say THANK YOU! Your support has helped reach thousands with the gospel message.

The 2008 YWEA project focuses on the establishment of three training centers for missions to reach the major religions of the world. Once again we call upon every pastor to encourage their church, youth group and children's ministry to support this mission endeavor. Your involvement will not only support the creation of these missionary training centers but will also help create a love for missions in the hearts and minds of your local youth and children and assist them in developing into mature disciple of the church.

Mark Abbott
Int. Director YCE

I'm excited about this years YWEA project. Taking the gospel to the three major religions of the world is the very essence of what Christ has called us to do. These training facilities in Egypt for Muslims, India for Hindus and in Cambodia for Buddhists will not only train new missionaries to go into the harves, but will also acclimate those who have converted into Christianity to reach those religion groups in America. Wow! What a challenge, but what an opportunity. The Lord is coming , but what we do we must do quickly. Please join us this year and help us change the world for the Kingdom of God.

The church must directly confront the counterfeit religions of the world. We cannot back down from proclaiming the message. The people of Egypt, India, and Cambodia have been deceived and most have never heard the gospel. In an age of globalization the church has to ste out and evangelize the world.

The 2008 YWEA project will facilitate a Muslin-Backgroud Believers (MBB) training center which will train up to 120 individuals throughout the year. These individuals from North Africa and the Middle East will recieve experiential and discipleship training opportunities.

This project will focus on helping believers in these danger zones to receive specific training for reaching the Islamic nations. A television outreach ministry will be produced out of this center and converts of the outreach will be discipled and trained as effective witnesses for Christ to their specific cultures. These believers will also be encouraged to share their faith and to establish house churches throughout the Islamic world

The YWEA project involves the building of a missionary training center that will train individuals in hands-on, experiential-development opportunities.

One aspect of the 2008 YWEA project is designed to reach the Buddhist people of the 10/40 Window. This project utilizes the presentation of the gospel coupled with humanitarian aid and friendship evangelism.

Siem Reap, Cambodia, is the site of this training center, and is strategically located so as to reach several surrounding Buddhist countries, including-Laos, Myanmar(old Burma), Vietnam, Thailand, and Bhutan.

Field Director/ Asia Pacific

Since the beginning of the Mount Zion Bible College hundreds of ministers have been trained and sent out all over the world to preach the Gospel.

This YWEA project will help us to provide facilities to train young men and women to be effective in reaching the unreached people of the world. Those millions who have never heard the name of Jesus nor do they know of his love for them.

As field director for Asia/Pacific i would like to think the youth of the Church of God in America for the outstanding work that you have done and are continuing to do to proclaim the Gospel message around the world.
