As you endeavor to plan your new year of Christian education ministry in your local church, consider using the evaluation workshop to open dialogue about changes needed. It is always vital that we look at the past and present, as we prepare for the future. This process of evaluation will enhance our ministry, if done in a positive and non-threatening manner.

But they must not become a replacement for instruction from the Book. Well-fed sheep have a greater tendency to remain healthy sheep. Hungry and emaciated sheep are easy prey to the cults, not to mention their inability to stand up under the numerous battles with life’s trials” (C. Swindoll in Rise and Shine).
